2021-2022 School Year Policies for all Enrolled Families
By enrolling in ANY paid Preschool From Home program, you agree to the following policies:
1. The tuition for the “Building Blocks” Program is either $525/month if you pay in once-per-month installments; $1425 per quarter if you pay in 3-month installments upfront; or at the equivalent of $450/month for paying 6 months upfront (i.e., $2700 for Feb 1 – Jul 29, 2022).
The tuition for the “Funlimited” Program, by contrast, is either $675/month if you pay in once-per-month installments; $1,830 per quarter if you pay in 3-month installments upfront; or at the equivalent of $583/month for paying 6 months upfront (i.e., $3500 for Feb 1 – Jul 29, 2022).
You understand that at any time, with 30 days notice, the monthly tuition can change (unless you have already paid for a certain period upfront; then you would have that tuition rate locked in until the expiration of your paid-for period).
2. If you pay tuition once per month, you understand that tuition will be auto-deducted from your payment method on-file on the 1st of every month while you are enrolled. We do not offer custom invoicing as means of making monthly tuition payments.
3. If you pay by credit or debit card, then you agree to pay the Stripe processing fee of 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction. Preschool From Home has no control over Stripe’s fees; but if you’d to avoid them, then the only way is to pay by direct ACH or ETF in which case you must let us know at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will email you the details to set that up!
4. To enroll in any program for the 2021-22 School Year, there is a nonnegotiable one-time $65 New Materials Fee and a one-time $85 Registration Fee.
5. Any tuition payments that are more than 72 hours late due to the Customer’s lack of timely payment (and lack of response to our staff in trying to pay the invoice immediately) will result in a nonnegotiable $25 Late Fee. If the Customer’s payment fails but he/she at least responds to our outreach attempts and can make payment in a timely manner, we may choose to waive the Late Fee.
6. Please follow the published schedule for the school year (included below) and mark your own calendar accordingly!
7. You agree to receive communication via email, SMS, and phone from Preschool From Home.
8. We do not offer prorated refunds for classes that a family missed, days on which the teacher is sick or out, holidays, in-service days, or any other designated days off. We also do not offer prorated refunds for days on which a family or child is sick or unable to attend class.
9. We work hard with our IT and Support staff to bring class disruptions to an absolute minimum, but if need be, we may need to cancel class. If so, Preschool From Home will do everything possible to (1) find a suitable substitute teacher for that particular class time; (2) offer a make-up class session later; or (3) extend class times in the next week to 75 or 90 minutes in order to make up for the missed session. We will always make it up to you if and when this occurs.
10. Because we are a school-year academy, the assumption is that families are enrolling for at least the current school year. However, if the Customer absolutely needs to disenroll, then the Customer must submit written notice to “email@example.com” 30 days in advance of their intended last day of the program. The Customer agrees to pay for every one of those last 30 days in the program from the moment notice was given. If your billing date falls on July 1 for instance and you request to cancel July 15, then because you would’ve already paid for July 1-31, the only amount due is for August 1-15 (30 days forward from the moment you gave notice). The only exception to this is for a Customer who enrolls in a short paid trial period at the very beginning of their enrollment (this paid trial period is exempt of the 30 days’ notice requirement)
11. Families can freeze their enrollment for up to 6 weeks per school year by giving at least a 30 days’ notice and by paying 75% of the standard monthly tuition during the entire freeze period. This is to hold their child’s spot in the program while making sure that the teacher still gets paid. This cannot be applied toward the 30-day prorated tuition charge for those disenrolling. Only families who have confirmed their return date with us and agreed to resume tuition payments starting from that return date can use this policy. A 30 days’ notice (minimum) is required to make us of this, as well (example: if your vacation is on July 1-14, then we would need notice by June 1 in order to be able to process the 2-week prorated refund). You may use as many or as little of the 10 days as you’d like if you are eligible to use it.
11. Families who have been enrolled for at least 4 months can receive a full prorated refund for up to 2 weeks per school year due to vacation, travel, etc. This cannot be applied toward the 30-day prorated tuition charge for those who are disenrolling. Only families who have confirmed their return date with us and agreed to resume tuition payments starting from that return date can use this policy. If a family has not yet completed 4 months or more, but they have paid upfront for at least that long, then they are eligible for this policy. A 30 days’ notice (minimum) is required to make us of this, as well (example: if your vacation is on July 1-14, then we would need notice by June 1 in order to be able to process the 2-week prorated refund). You may use as many or as little of the 10 days as you’d like if you are eligible to use it.
12. Other than what is provided for in Policy #11, and other than billing mistakes, there are no refunds under any circumstances.
13. All Preschool From Home classes are recorded for quality assurance purposes as well as to accurately demonstrate and promote the program on our website, social media, etc. If you do not wish for your child’s image to be used in our promotional materials, please give us notice in writing.
14. Our Refer-A-Friend Program works as follows: if you are enrolled at the time you refer a new customer, we’ll give both you and the referral $150 each!
15. By enrolling my child, I the parent/legal guardian grant Ready Education Group, LLC my permission to use recorded images and video clips of my child(ren) for any legal use, including but not limited to: publicity, copyright purposes, website design, and advertising.
16. For all enrolled families and staff, these are Preschool From Home’s policies as of January 1, 2022. If a change to the policies needs to occur, we will give sufficient notice.
